magic is everywhere

Magic persists, even in the most challenging times.

Tweening in animation is the magic that ensures seamless transitions between keyframes, reducing the file size and generating the in-between frames. Like the Classic Tweens used in the "spider web" animation, Motion Tweens offer additional, more nuanced controls. This project employs Motion Tweens to guide the movement of the unicorns' paths.

Symbols are versatile elements in Animate created for reuse within a document or across different projects. Movie clip symbols have independent multi-frame timelines, functioning like mini-timelines nested within the main one. The unicorns' wings and tails are separate movie clip symbols with nested animations.

The mandala is also composed of one movie clip symbol with three nested symbols that rotate separately.

Masks overlay layers to animate the second layer using the first, revealing content only where the layers overlap. For my project, I utilized a Motion Tween in conjunction with a mask to reveal the text dynamically in the animation.

To create shape tweens, you draw a shape in one frame and alter or draw a different shape in another frame. Animate then fills in the frames in between, smoothly transitioning between the shapes. In this project, I initially used a motion tween to make the smoke cloud appear and incorporated multiple layers of shape tweens to make the smoke clouds disappear.
