la luna 〰️ el sol 〰️

I crafted this animation in Adobe Animate using Shape Tweens. Shape tweens execute fluid transitions and transformations between different shapes by automatically generating intermediate frames. Through a repeating shape tween, I manipulated the opacity of the stars.

I used Shape Tweens to change the moons into the words "La Luna." Shape Hints helped guide the software in transforming specific points on the moon into the correct shapes. I strategically added an extra dark shape to smoothly turn a solid moon into the letter "a," which has a hole in the middle. I removed the extra dark layer in the frame just before transforming the "a" into a segment of the sun.

I applied the same technique to turn a part of the sun into the letter "o," adding an extra blue shape to form the central hole. Afterward, I removed the blue shape before transforming the "o" back into a moon. While transitioning from "o" to the moon, I faced challenges with the Shape Tween, requiring me to create additional shapes manually.

Since "El Sol" has five letters, but there are six moons, I divided the letter "L" in half. To ensure a seamless loop in the GIF, I stopped the animation at the same point as the beginning.
