love not hate

Inspired by nature's simple yet profound beauty, this animation captures a poignant moment where a cloud gently blows wind. This act sets delicate flowers into motion, causing their stamens to spread gracefully in a dance of reproduction: a symbol of life, growth, and interconnectedness. Through this animation, I aim to convey the universal truth that love, like the wind, can touch every corner of our lives, fostering empathy, unity, and acceptance.

The wind was crafted frame-by-frame. I created eight separate layers and, in a reverse fashion, deleted sections of the wind on each frame, starting from the last keyframe.

In shape tweening, you draw a vector shape at one frame and then modify or draw a different shape at another frame. Animate then fills in the frames in between, smoothly animating the transformation from one shape to another. I utilized shape tweens to animate the dandelion stamens evolving into the text.
